KASA is an architectural association based in Tokyo and Moscow, founded in 2019. The founders— Alexandra Kovaleva and Kei Sato, previously worked at Junya Ishigami and later created their own bureau. They works as architects and artists, and also directs the Koishikawa Botanical Festival (Tokyo). KASA is expanding its activities to various scales and fields, including product design, furniture, interior design, art, and urbanism.
Alexandra and Kei will talk about the topics that concern Japanese architects today, about their own sources of inspiration and the bureau's projects, including the reconstruction of the Russian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
